01. Service Description & Non-Affiliation

First Tee Golf is an independent, third-party desktop automation tool. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by MiClub or any specific golf club, course, or facility. Our software simply automates the web requests a user would otherwise perform manually from their own computer.

02. Club Policies & Assumption of Risk

Users are solely responsible for understanding and abiding by the terms, conditions, and booking policies of their respective golf clubs.

Because First Tee Golf runs locally on your machine, it utilizes your personal internet connection. Some golf clubs may have policies prohibiting the use of automated booking software. By running First Tee Golf, you assume all risk and liability. First Tee Golf will not be held liable for any warnings, suspensions, account terminations, or loss of membership privileges resulting from the use of our software.

03. Software Licensing & Refunds

• License Key: Continued use of the First Tee Golf desktop app requires a valid, active software license purchased via our Stripe billing portal.
• License Verification: The software makes occasional, lightweight network requests to our servers solely to verify the validity of your license key.
• Refunds: Because booking success depends on factors outside our control (like your local internet speed and club tee-sheet availability), we do not offer refunds for missed bookings or failed attempts.

04. Fair Use & Network Limits

While the software runs on your local hardware without strict cloud limitations, you are strictly responsible for configuring reasonable scheduling limits. We reserve the right to revoke software licenses without refund for accounts found to be modifying the software to engage in malicious web scraping or artificially flooding club servers with excessive requests.

05. Account Credentials & Security

First Tee Golf requires your club credentials to perform bookings on your behalf. These credentials are saved securely in a local SQLite database directly on your computer's hard drive. First Tee Golf employees do not have access to your passwords. You are responsible for ensuring your local machine is secure and maintaining the accuracy of your credentials.

06. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless First Tee Golf, its founders, and affiliates from any claims, damages, liabilities, costs, or expenses arising from your use of the software, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party golf club policy.
